What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pit Loader Operator position at Luck Companies?
Luck Stone, Fairfield, SC plant is currently seeking an experienced Pit Loader Operator who will, under close supervision, perform a variety of tasks involved with the extraction, crushing, conveying, inventory and service of aggregate stone products, facilities and associated machinery while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Individual will have previous experience safely operating heavy equipment - one or more of the following: excavator, yard loader, haul truck, in a quarry or other large construction site.
Duties include:
- Pre-shift and post shift inspection of vehicle
- Identifying and reporting rode, high wall, and equipment issues
- Operating heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and/or dumping techniques
- Willingness to assist with general plant maintenance/project activities when needed: change screens, change crusher liners, drive water truck when needed.
- Participate in trainings and meetings as directed.
Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, flexible and has previously worked in a team environment. Mining experience a plus. Day shift.
