Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional grooming services to various breeds of dogs, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process.
• Perform standard grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, cutting, and styling based on customer preferences and breed standards.
• Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other necessary hygiene-related tasks.
• Evaluate dogs' coats and skin conditions, reporting any concerns to the pet owner or supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including proper sanitation of tools and equipment.
• Interact with clients to understand their grooming preferences and provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle dogs with patience and care, ensuring their well-being during the grooming session.
• Keep accurate records of each grooming session, including notes on the dog's behavior, preferences, and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dog groomer or completion of a formal grooming training program.
• A genuine love for dogs and a deep understanding of various breeds and their specific grooming needs.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with compassion and patience.
• Strong knowledge of different grooming techniques, styles, and breed-specific cuts.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and understand their grooming preferences.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high standard of grooming quality.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle dogs and perform grooming tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules.
