What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Food Runner/Busser position at Lucy's?
Looking for an EXTREMELY RELIABLE candidate to join our amazing team.
**Duties:**
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Sweep or scrub floors.
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
-Help run food as needed or clear table.
-Team player!!
**Experience:**
- Previous experience as a dishwasher/busser is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and handling techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
**Skills:**
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff and servers.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils.
**Additional Information:**
- This is a part-time position that will increase to full time in spring/summer. Start at 25 hours and increase to 40 plus.
