Fuel Pump Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
The Fuel Pump Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the fuel pumps and physical assets of the company. The Fuel Pump Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Regional Manager of Facilities and Maintenance.
Fuel Pump Maintenance Technician duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all pump-related areas in the field
- Perform repairs and/or adjustments to fuel pump equipment
- Repair equipment associated with the underground storage tanks and delivery systems
- Maintain, repair, and replace Electronic Point of Sale and electronic fuel gauging systems
- Perform other warehouse/service station operation and maintenance, including electrical work, plumbing, and painting
- Keep a record of all the fuel pump day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken
- Comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while carrying out maintenance functions
- Transport and transfer equipment to and from the corporate office to retail sites
- Respond to emergencies in a timely manner, which includes calls outside of normal working hours
- Maintain company-owned truck, including keeping supplies and proper tools on hand at all times
Experience/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of Facilities Maintenance is required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of gas/diesel dispensers
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of the Ruby Sapphire and MCR Radiant POS Systems
- Possession of Weights and Measurement Certification
- Experience with Wayne and Gilbarco gas/diesel dispensers
Hours:
The Fuel Pump Maintenance Technician is a full time position and works a minimum of 40 hours per week
