What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at Lumbermens Inc?

POSITION SUMMARY
- Ensuring the proper quality, accuracy and timeliness of the prepping of all doors for specials, line, and finish.
- Properly staging all doors for production or shipping.
- Maintaining the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the CNC area, assigned by the CNC Supervisor
- Working with shipping to pull individual components for customer orders
- Ensuring that all production areas are properly supplied for the day’s work
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the CNC Supervisor
This position offers a $250 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma/GED required
- Prior woodworking would be considered a plus; router, miter saws, table saws
- Prior CNC operation would be considered a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of exterior doors would be considered a plus, but not required.

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work safely and efficiently at all times
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to accurately read orders and stage material to internal customer needs
- Strong attention to detail and desire to “do things right the first time”
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 75 lb
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
