Looking for a pastry chef to work together with a fellow pastry chef to produce desserts/breads/ event desserts for The Black Bass Hotel, Lumberville General store and Golden Pheasant Inn. Duties include but are not subject to change from the following:

  • Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen, working together with the other chefs to create signature menu items
  • Prepare a variety of baked goods
  • Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
  • Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
  • Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
  • Identify staffing needs, help to recruit new personnel and train them
  • Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
