The GrowthOS is Lumen's corporate venture studio responsible for launching and incubating new businesses that deliver remarkable value to our customers. As the studio grows, we're looking for strategic, passionate and entrepreneurial leaders to join as Cofounders.
The Cofounders are corporate entrepreneurs who are excited to innovate in new and disruptive ways, as they work in 2-3 person startups teams. This is a unique full-time opportunity to identify, create, validate and operationalize new businesses that solve critical problems in the security or data space.
As a Cofounder, you will:
- Build and validate a compelling business model in an effort to unlock profitable growth.
- Leverage experimentation to learn fast, validating or invalidating assumptions through testing and evidence.
- Identify a robust and objective body of evidence that helps to sell the vision for the startup, generating excitement and gaining support from internal stakeholders and key customers.
- Hold total accountability for operationalizing the early stages of the startup, including identifying best customer, business model and potential concept for minimum viable product.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years professional experience in building complex B2B digital products in the security or data space.
- Experience in areas such as product management, product development, customer experience/user experience, technology solutions/solutions engineering.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills up / down / across the organization - including the ability to craft and deliver a compelling pitch to an executive-level audience.
- Background in navigating the intersection of consumer desirability, technical feasibility, and business model viability to deliver profitable growth ideas.
- Passion for working directly with customers and running experiments which validate or invalidate critical assumptions.
- Strong project management skills, including a track record of success leading cross-functional teams to execute sophisticated complex initiatives.
- Acumen for mobilizing teams toward ambitious goals.
- Demonstrated willingness and bias to break away from "business as usual," try new approaches, and work differently to deliver stronger results.
- Willing to travel between 25-40%.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
