The Role
Working under the Sr Manager Industrial Security, the Lead Security Professional (Physical Security Specialist) is responsible for the initial build, accreditation and operation and maintenance of the secure spaces required to support the classified government programs for Lumen Technologies Government Solutions Inc. (LTGSI) and must be cleared to the Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information level with polygraph. Must have a working knowledge in all areas of Physical Security in compliance with the 32 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual," (NISPOM) and supplemental requirements, Department of Defense (DOD) security policies and procedures as they relate to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), the Department of Energy (DOE) National Security System Manual, Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and other relevant manuals and regulations governing the Intelligence Community.
The Main Responsibilities
- Will oversee the construction of LTGSI secure facilities to ensure accreditation
- Will maintain facility accreditation packages for all LTGSI secure facilities.
- Will investigate and write reports of incidents regarding deviations of policy pertaining to the physical security policies for the Sr Manager, Industrial Security, the Program Manager, Security Manager and the government security office. Will follow through on the development for areas of improvement of the physical security program to prevent future incidents or violations.
- Will maintain a data base of program cleared personnel and ensure proper badging and access control.
- Will work closely with the security team to ensure all physical security policies and procedures are documented and all briefed employees are properly trained by assisting in the initial security briefings, re-briefings and debriefings.
- Must be able to interpret with assistance government program physical security specifications and apply them to the program needs to ensure a smooth cost effective accreditation process.
- Must have basic knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery to work with the BC Professional to create and implement BC plans to ensure continuity of operations during emergency situations.
- Must have working knowledge of computer security to work with Industrial Security's Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in the development of a classified network and the documentation that is required to obtain Authority To Operate (ATO).
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Minimum of 10 and preferably 15 or more years in a senior leadership role supporting classified programs from the collateral to the SCI levels
- Must have in-depth knowledge of all resource material that describes the policies and procedures for the protection of classified information and the ability to overlay those policies to develop a strong security program using such material as DCID's, NISPOM, ICD's, and specific program related guidance provided in accordance to the contract
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current TS/SSBI.
- CI Polygraph.

- Bachelors degree or relevant work experience
