What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Applications Specialist (Aesthetic) - West Coast position at Lumenis?
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Clinical Applications Specialist is responsible for providing the educational platform for all Lumenis programs including customer in-services, workshops, and course programs. Responsibilities expend to support the needs of sales, marketing, and the engineering departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute Lumenis educational activities according to company policies. Report on a timely basis to the appropriate Manager, Field Service, and appropriate Sales Associate.
Provide the primary leadership for training at customers' facilities after a system is in place including didactic presentations, web-based training and procedure support. Maintain and follow progress with continued support according to policy.
Evaluate customers training needs and make decisions as to appropriateness.
Provide support, when requested, at workshops and courses where Lumenis equipment is being demonstrated or displayed.
Participate in the clinical development and promotion of all Lumenis products as needed.
Provide clinical input to Engineering, Manufacturing and Field Service regarding equipment performance and new product specifications.
Support database communications between the Lumenis team and Lumenis customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Nurse. Perioperative Nursing experience a plus
Knowledge of laser and/or IPL technology strongly desired. Experience or familiar with Lumenis Aesthetic (CO2) systems highly preferred.
70% travel is required within the designated territories with occasional weekend travel. May also include some international travel.
Training skills and the ability to build professional relationships with corporate clients.
PC literate with strong focus on Microsoft Office, web-based training and documentation tools the ability to interact with and to support sales team efforts.
Highly organized individual with good-time management skills.
Strong communications skills.
