Job Description
We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer to join the Lumifi Infrastructure team. Your primary responsibilities will be designing and implementing best-practice-based configurations, customizations, and automations on internal IT infrastructure, including IT Audit requirements, Azure deployments, Office365, SIEM management, management of internal IT resources, change management, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, RBAC, and MDM. This position is a blend of security duties and system administration. We are located in Scottsdale, AZ and the position is a hybrid role.
What You Will Be Doing
- Participate in On-Call Incident Response for security incidents report from our SOC
- Perform or oversee quarterly penetration testing against our internal and external environments
- Running regular vulnerability management tasks, with the option to participate in DevSecOps
- Improving the overall security of our environment via best practices such as Zero Trust Networking
- Providing Engineering support for assets deployed in Azure, Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory
- Administering, upgrading, and supporting a variety of Cloud systems in Azure (Linux, Windows, Network)
- Utilizing progressive troubleshooting skills
- Integrating diverse systems and automating tasks, such as Infrastructure as Code via terraform
- Demonstration of understanding advanced cloud networking concepts
- Running asset management and change management programs
- Managing SOC 2 Type 2 certification process, with additional compliance to be added in the future
Additional duties may be assigned based on organizational need and operational necessity.
What You Bring to Lumifi
- Solid understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and access control
- Proficiency in at least one major provider (ex. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience creating automations to address repetitive tasks, such as scripting or Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to identify system faults, triage, troubleshooting, and see issues through to resolution
- Candidate should be able to react quickly, decisively, and deliberately in high stress situations
- Ability to learn new technologies effectively in a changing production environment
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with other departments while working on other complex issues or tasks
- Experience working in environments with compliance standards such as HIPPA, PCI, SOC II, ISO, NIST or other security compliance standards
- Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 is a plus
- Experience with Terraform and/or Kubernetes is a plus
