What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Accountant position at Lumin8 Transportation Technologies LLC?
The Accounts Payable Clerk will perform detailed data entry of AP invoices using various cost centers, across multiple entities and many GL accounts.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manages inflow of invoices through email.
- Accurately enters invoices.
- Re-routes/re-codes invoices as needed.
- Coordinates payments for weekly check run.
- Assists with corporate credit card reconciliation.
- Assists with sales tax.
- Reviews vendor statements for missing invoices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Accurate data entry is key.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Data entry experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Compensation:
This is an hourly position paying $22.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience. The following benefits are included on the 1st day of the month following your date of hire:
