What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Weapons Stockpile Historian position at LunaTek LLC?
Provide Nuclear Weapons Accountability expertise. Requires demonstrated DoD nuclear weapons accountability experience. Must be capable to function independently or as a back-up to Department Stockpile Managers. It is highly encouraged to have 3-5 years of experience as munitions accountable officer and experience using Defense Integration and Management of Nuclear Data Services (DIAMONDS). This Performance Requirement includes:
- Maintaining and updating nuclear weapons history databases of weapons assigned to the
Department of Defense
- Researching sources for data and transcribing into databases
- Evaluating, validating and verifying data
- Responding to inquiries
- Researching complicated historical discrepancies
- Generating nuclear history reports
- Responding to and updating changes to nuclear weapons classification policy
- Effectively communicating to senior leadership through briefings, presentations, written/verbal
correspondence, and other means as necessary, that can be understood at multiple levels
- Developing training materials for Stockpile Management and DIAMONDS processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per year
