Position: Residential Program Counselor

About the Position:
The residential Counselor position includes 4 ten hour shifts weekly. The pay is $19-22/hr - all hours worked between midnight and 7 am receive an additional $2.50/hr, or $21.50-24.50! Hours are 10 pm-8 am.

Open shifts:
  • Saturday – Tuesday 10pm-8am (full time)
  • Sunday/Monday 10pm-8am (part time)

Responsibilities:
  • Counselors provide parent education, life skill support, and milieu management within the treatment setting providing residential services to pregnant and parenting individuals and their children.
  • Responsibilities also include medication administration, transportation, and other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure high-quality integrated services for individuals with mental health and substance use treatment needs.

  • Full-time position with starting rate $19-$21/hour; salary determined based on education and experience.
  • $2.50/hour shift differential offered for the weekend and overnight shifts.
  • Additional $2.50/hour differential is offered for key holiday shifts.

What We Look For:
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field is preferred; individuals pursuing Bachelor's degree or with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience providing care to young children.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment; flexibility, adaptability, and open-mindedness necessary.
  • Experience working in a residential treatment setting is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
