Sprinkler Technician, Pipe Fitter

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team in New York City. The Fire Sprinkler Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring the safety of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests of fire sprinkler systems according to NFPA 25 standards and local regulations.
• Identify and document deficiencies in fire sprinkler systems and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports for clients, including documentation of inspections, testing results, and any required repairs or upgrades.
• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and replacement of fire sprinkler system components.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule inspections and provide excellent customer service.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Inspector.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes, local fire codes, and other relevant regulations.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• S-12 & S-13 Certificate of Fitness from NYC
• Experience threading and grooving pipe

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
