POSITION TITLE: Overnight Care/Security

POSITION SUMMARY:

Overnight Care will represent the Management during the night. They will also assist the General Manager in all aspects of the property including but not limited to operations, security, guest services and asset maintenance in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

Overnight Care provides leadership and support to all members of the hotel team and enforces the Hotels Standards of Excellence in all areas supervised in their absence.

OVERNIGHT CARE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and monitor activities of all guests to ensure they adhere to the standards of excellence and to the guidelines set in the hotel’s rules and conditions, correcting where needed overnight.
• Frequently walk the property to ensure everything is in good working order and tidy.
• Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Check accommodations, making sure any special requests are carried out accordingly, greet guests upon arrival and ensure escort to accommodations if appropriate.
• Maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment at all times.
• Act as Manager on Duty for the hotel in the absence of the Front Office Manager dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise.
• Required to welcome our late arriving guests to the hotel in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Be the overnight point of contact for our guests to ensure all requirements are met during our guests stay.
• Must actively participate in the decision-making process on guest relocation.
• Ensure the accurate completion of the daily night audit in a timely fashion.
• Oversee preparation of daily summary reports as instructed by General Manager.
• Should Show Initiative, Problem Solving, Staff Training, Team Leading.
• Be aware and able to enforce all fire-life-safety procedures.
• Remain current in all updates with regards to new procedures and training.
• Report any suspicious persons, activities and/or hazardous conditions to the General Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overnight shift

• Graford, TX 76449: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
