The office administrator is responsible for general office support such as the preparation of weekly worship bulletins, monthly newsletters and annual reports. Other responsibilities include accurate records management, both paper and electronic, maintaining master congregational calendar, coordinating office equipment maintenance.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
◦ appropriately manage confidential information
◦ excellent verbal and written communication skills
◦ proficiency in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Powerpoint and Excel
◦ technologically fluent
◦ detail oriented and highly organized
◦ communicates effectively and prioritizes to meet deadlines
◦ works collaboratively as well as independently
◦ familiarity with copyright laws and licensing a plus
Minimum two years of work experience with administrative responsibilities.
Education: associate's degree, bachelor's preferred
Job type: part time, 16-20 hours per week, September-June; 10-12 hours per week,
July and August
Schedule: negotiable, in-person
