What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Therapist III (PT) position at Lutheran Hospital?
Job Summary:
- Performs the evaluation and administration of rehabilitative/habilitative techniques necessitated as a result of age, trauma, degenerative disease, congenital condition or sudden onset of pathology which requires development, maintenance, or restoration of function.
- Functions as a clinical preceptor/mentor to clinical therapist I and II level staff in area of responsibility.
- Maintains a unit-wide perspective of patient care and educational needs.
- Assists in the development of new programs and protocols for specialty area and assists with implementation across continuum.
- Participates in the education of staff through the development of staff competencies and organization of related educational activities.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications
Licensure:
- Current certification/licensure in the state of Indiana for specific discipline
Experience:
- Experience in area of specialty as demonstrated through progression of the clinical ladder behaviors.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
