Purpose & Impact:
Responsible for ensuring that our facility is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Change bed linens and towels regularly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with laundry and ironing as needed.
- Maintain organization of storage areas and cleaning equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have a high level of energy.
- Must be adaptable and able to work flexible hours.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
- Able to lift 25lbs.
Education/Experience:
- A High School Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
Skills:
- Acceptance of a variety of lifestyles, behaviors, and cultural and spiritual practices.
Other:
- Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.
- Valid driver’s license and appropriate driving record for the last two (2) years and appropriate auto liability insurance required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to successfully pass a Level II background screening and drug test.
