As a Direct Support Professional with Lutheran Social Services of MN, you will provide guidance and encouragement, while building meaningful and supportive relationships with the individuals receiving services. You will advocate for the individuals in all aspects of their life, including community engagement and support in essential living skills. You will also be required to maintain documentation, perform record keeping, and participate in periodic meetings/training according to regulations and LSS standards.

Direct Support Professional Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check.
- The ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to read and write in the English language.
- The desire to help individuals with disabilities achieve their personal hopes and dreams.

**Part time AWAKE OVERNIGHT DSP POSITION** for the following nights in a 2 week schedule period: Friday 9p-9a, Saturday 9p-9a, Thursday 9p-9a
- Must also attend monthly staff meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month at 9:00am.
- Starting pay is $15.50/hour
