Details and duties for Industrial Maintenance Technician positions:
- Follow all safety practices
- Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety and GMP policies
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment (programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment
- Make adjustment to equipment ensuring the proper performance
- Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting
- Advise operators and line mechanics of operation procedures
- Provide preventative maintenance care on equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Create and maintain POKA guides relative to operations
- Other duties as needed
Requirements for Industrial Maintenance Technician position?
- Technical Degree or accredited apprenticeship program of the equivalent in a technical field
- 3 years of prior experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer experience/operations and PLC troubleshooting are necessary (Allen-Bradley preferably)
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, twist, kneel and reach
