OVERVIEW:
- Managers are primarily responsible for overseeing day to day patient care, supervising, directing and developing nurse staff, and reporting to the Director
- Nursing to ensure quality patient care within a long-term care center, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community. Unit Managers are liaisons between residents and their families. Unit Managers are tasked with ensuring their unit complies with federal and state regulatory standards and follow company policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- FL RN License - Will consider strong LPN with valid FL PN License
- LTC Experience Preferred
- 5 years nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting and a minimum 1-year experience as a nurse supervisor
- CPR/BLS certified
- Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care centers.
