Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, attentive, hard-working, and reliable person to join our team! This position enjoys working shifts during concerts, MMA fights, rodeos, the Utah State Fair, and more! The Hospitality Assistant Manager would directly report to the GM of Hospitality and perform miscellaneous tasks pre and post events along with working scheduled events.
As the Assistant Hospitality Manager it will be your job to coordinate, direct and plan everyday concessions operations. You’ll help create weekly schedules, ensure shifts go smoothly and manage daily operations. The job also entails some administrative duties , training new employees and assisting on the front and back lines when necessary. Additionally, you’ll also help lead the team meetings and group training sessions.
Requirements
- Report directly to the General Manager of LUX Hospitality
- Interview and hire new team members
- Inventory of products weekly, or post event, as needed at LUX Hospitality venues
- Deliver product orders from vendors to venues and restock in proper storing areas
- Check in food and beverage orders, deliver to proper venues, as needed
- Ability to operate a point of sale system, customer money, and engage with customers professionally
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills, such as food prep, use of fryers and grills, and operating equipment
- Flexibility on daily tasks
Qualifications
- 21 years old
- Safe driving record with a valid driver’s license
- Current food handlers and alcohol service permit.
- At least 3 years of experience in hospitality food and beverage
- At least 2 years of experience in a management role.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move heavy items
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks
- Time management skills and task oriented without supervision
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
