Staff Today Inc. is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Somerset, PA. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today Inc.

Shift Details:

2:00p-10:30 pm 

10:00p-6:30 am

Every other weekend and some assigned holidays may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Proficient computer skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to enter health data for residents into electronic medical records data base.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
  • Must have up to date credentials in the state of PA
