SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER
Luxfer Magtech specializes in developing, manufacturing, and supplying a broad range of products that safeguard and protect, ranging from flameless ration heaters that give our U.S. Military a hot meal; innovative chemical response kits designed to detect and decontaminate chemical warfare agents; to nutritious hot food and beverage options for militaries and first responders.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sales Operation Manager will design, build, and maintain our sales operations tools, metrics and processes. They will support our internal Account Management, Sales, and Product Management teams to deliver the most value for our customers. In this role you will be responsible for solving complex Operational problems to help our internal teams work more efficiently and effectively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strategic:
- Oversee and drive the sales funnel.
- Streamlining and optimizing the sales operation process, creating, new SOPs and training to those SOPs.
- Selecting, implementing, and managing sales automation tools.
- Manage CRM data through Salesforce and integrate into ERP and Campaign systems.
- Perform sales forecasting with Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Work with sales leadership to develop organizational goals.
Tactical:
- Lead a team of sales/customer service representatives.
- Drive tactical planning throughout all levels of the organization closest to the customer.
- Overseeing sales/marketing promotions and campaigns presenting the results to the Director of Sales and Marketing with suggested improvements for future campaigns.
- Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics, creating dashboards for Senior Management.
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service.
- Advising distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business or Marketing related field.
- At least five (5) years’ experience in setting, monitoring, and meeting/exceeding sales targets, CRM management, sales/marketing campaign management.
- Strong analytical skills are required to identify trends and patterns.
- Expert MS Excel user, experienced CRM management, Salesforce Super User preferred.
- Experience using CRM to successfully manage/drive the sales process and forecast sales strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
- Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a US Citizen due to the nature of the work.
- Self-motivated, ability to work without supervision; team player; must excel in a cross-functional team environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to motivate and influence others.
- PC literate; proficient in use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Minimum 30% travel.

- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to regularly reach with hands and arms and talk or hear; required to stand; walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
