YOU have an exciting opportunity to join our team and work at our exceptional Skilled Nursing Facility as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Magnolia Rehab and Long-term Care! As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), your assessment and planning capabilities equip you to develop and implement infection control programs that ensure a safe environment for all. You will conduct audits on infection prevention practices and provide education to all staff members as well as comply with mandates for state and federal public reporting. This position is also responsible for new staff orientation, coordinating wound management program and guiding staffing procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Valid Registered Nurse / RN or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- At least 2 years of experience in infection prevention highly preferred
- Positive and upbeat attitude
- In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in the healthcare industry
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
