Maintenance Assistant/ Floor tech Job Summary: To perform day-to-day floor cleaning activities and assure the facility is maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner.

Maintenance Assistant / Floor Tech Duties include but are not limited to:
· Assistant in Maintenance work orders
· Dust mopping, wet mopping, and buffing of assigned floors.
· Cleaning walls, rails, doors, behind doors, and baseboards.
· Follow facility-established safety and infection control practices when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
· Maintain work areas in a clean and safe manner. Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the housekeeping and laundry supervisor. Maintenance issues should be reported to the maintenance supervisor in accordance with established facility protocols.
· Always honor the resident’s personal and property rights. Turn in all found articles to your supervisor.
· All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
