GENERAL FUNCTION
The Trainer is responsible for the virtual delivery, facilitation and monitoring of Training & Development activities across his/her assigned area and scope. Provides a consultative interaction with stakeholders to promote alignment of the business needs and to Luxottica Retail in cultivating future leaders and driving sales. This includes partnering with Luxottica University leadership in creating learning curriculums, engaging communications, and impactful content for store and field employees within his/her assigned area.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Virtual delivery of engaging and impactful virtual training across topics and learner groups.
- Drives and promotes virtual learning curriculum for assigned scope and area.
- Track and deliver on Luxottica Universtiy KPI’s.
- Helps build and reinforce a culture of high-sales performance expectations.
- Partners/consults with field leadership on the effective assessment of store performance against ideal behaviors that drive performance results (Gap Analysis).
- Assesses and provides feedback on training and content needs based on data collection during classroom sessions.
- Remain up-to-date on key initiatives, changes, and strategies within the retail brands.
- Stay informed of current virtual delivery trends, tools, and strategies.
- Build and foster relationships within the retail brands to influence and grow a strong culture of digital learning.
- Supports field leadership in building teams of the best people, fully engaged.
- Provides positive role model and mentorship to high potential Store Managers and Field Managers in personal leadership and business development.
- Ensures every field leader and store team understands and consistently delivers The ELITE Customer Experience.
- Assists with the development and implementation of training strategy, initiatives and curriculum for Luxottica Retail.
- Motivates, coaches, and inspires the team to be avid brand ambassadors.
- Supports in ensuring flawless execution of the operational components and brand standards.
- Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of training solutions; gathers feedback from the front lines and relays back to corporate team to evolve training offerings.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years training delivery experience
- Clear understanding of digital and virtual learning tools
- Outstanding virtual facilitation skills
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated success in multi-unit retail training
