GENERAL FUNCTION
The Manager - Sales Incentives is responsible for defining, operationalizing and calculating results for sales incentive programs including compensations plans, rewards programs and competitions. The Manager – Sales Incentives is responsible for establishing programs that incent desired behavior across sales and account management functions in collaboration with senior Sales, Finance and HR leadership. The Manager – Sales Incentives is detail oriented and has a strong skillset for defining and driving adherence to organizational processes. The Manager – Sales Incentives will drive efficiency and accuracy by evaluating and enhancing the tools and systems to support incentive programs.

The Manager – Sales Incentives is a go-getter with excellent problem solving and data analysis skills. The role interacts with EyeMed sales and account management executive leadership and field leadership teams, HR, Finance conducting analyses, facilitating discussions, developing recommendations, and creating and implementing plans.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the sales incentive compensation design process including working with leaders to understand strategic business objectives, assessing the success of current incentives, proposing new incentive designs, securing final decisions and approvals, and communicating new incentives to leaders and employees
  • Designing sales incentive plans that drive the sales behaviors that will drive expected results; modeling and testing plans to ensure profitability and desired results; offering creativity and best practices
  • Consulting as an incentive compensation expert offering technical advice that influences business strategy and results
  • Define and procure incentive management tools, software in partnership with IT
  • Partner with Operational, HR and technical teams to ensure designed programs can be operationalized and administered within the organization's processes
  • Conduct analysis and calculations for recurring payments
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace the company operates within to ensure the competitiveness of the sales compensation community including consultants, service providers, shareholder advocates, and business professionals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or any related discipline
  • At least five (5) years of experience in sales incentive design
  • Experience consulting on compensation strategy, competitive pay evaluation, pay/performance links, incentive program design
  • Proven track record of implementing creative compensation programs that align the broader employee population and senior management with shareholder value and drive achievement of business objectives
  • Strong verbal and communication skills and problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution, team management, and presentation
  • Excellent strategic, analytic, and financial skills
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills with a clear focus on results
  • Strong communication skills: writes and presents effectively; strong ability to adapt delivery and style to fit the audience and message; able to deliver messages that are well received and clearly understood

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MS or MBA Degree is highly desirable

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
