Position Classification: Full-Time Administration
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Plans, creates, prepares, submits and manages all College grant proposals; serves as a liaison between granting agencies, and the College in the budgeting and preparation of grant proposals and compiles and prepares comprehensive budget justifications; prepares and compiles all components of each grant submission, ensuring that the proposal is formatted, packaged, and submitted in accordance with granting agency requirements; creates the design, formatting and preparation of grant documentation, to include creation of computerized statistical summaries and/or graphics; creates a presentation strategy that sells the project idea; develops and maintains specialized databases and systems for recording and tracking grant proposals, awards, and related statistical information; creates and distributes standard and special reports, studies, summaries, and analyses, as required; develops and maintains a library of reference documentation, including such information as funding agency requirements and forms, investigator profiles and curriculum vitae, abstracts and reference literature, and other pertinent material; provides advice and guidance to College departments on the application of grant funding policies, regulations, and procedures; facilitates and supports the identification of funding opportunities, as appropriate; monitors and coordinates the administration of post-award grants to ensure that budgeting and administrative policies, procedures, and agency requirements are being followed; manages administrative problems and/or budget changes occurring during the awarded granting period; maintains currency of knowledge of grant funding policies, regulations, and procedures; disseminates and/or presents changes to departments and advises on the implementation of changes, and on the impact of changes on funded operations; work closely with various college departments to assist them in obtaining funding to meet the College's strategic goals; seek opportunities to develop partnerships with other community colleges and universities, businesses, and private foundations; track trends in fundraising, particularly Federal and State agency trends and legislation, and its effect on College; maintains specialized databases and systems for recording and tracking grant proposals and awards, related statistical information, and prospective donor data and contacts; research and identify prospective foundation funders, major donors and corporate sponsors, following fundraising related news, research, trends and best practices; create on on-line strategy for increased donor communication.
Entry Salary: $56,957.51 /annualStandard Work Week: 35 hours
