Fiscal Technicians perform accounting and operational support services for the Court of Common Pleas. The position is responsible for maintaining and monitoring accounting and financial records of criminal defendants, both adult and juvenile, and monitoring a wide variety of functions, as directed by the authority of the Court.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsible for the accounting and financial records for all Court of Common Pleas Criminal Court functions through the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC) Common Pleas Case Management System (CPCMS).Prepares daily remittance of monies collected with accompanying journal transactions. Processes in person payments and payments received via mail for court-imposed fines, costs, fees, and restitution.Interacts with other State and County agencies.Responds to inquiries from Defendants, victims, attorneys, and Probation Officers. Workloads include all cases before the Court of Common Pleas along with Summary Appeal cases and Magisterial District Justice non-payment referrals for collection of financial obligations.Specialized assignments for data entry including, but not limited to, Capias Costs, Sheriff Transportation costs, processing of bulk check payments, specialty court, etc.Documentation of events and/or issues with Defendant compliance or inquiries in CPCMS.
