Our LVI Building & Construction team has partnered with a leading multifamily general contractor in the Houston area that is actively seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Houston, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in overseeing the construction process of ground-up multifamily projects.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Facilitate efficient project documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily construction, with a focus on ground-up projects.
- Previous Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager experience
- Solid understanding of construction processes, project management, and building codes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
- Familiarity with project management software (Procore)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
