LVI Associates are currently seeking a Senior Scheduler with extensive experience in heavy civil construction to oversee and manage project schedules for our clients diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using P6. This individual will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-leading scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Conduct comprehensive schedule analyses to identify critical path activities, potential schedule risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Monitor project progress against the schedule and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify schedule deviations and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are met.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to integrate their schedules into the overall project schedule.
- Support the development of resource plans, budget forecasts, and project progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction scheduling, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project scheduling best practices, and critical path analysis.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMP certification or similar credentials are preferred.
