teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

Job Description
The MYP Sciences Teacher is responsible for fostering a passion for the Sciences in our students
and for working collaboratively with members of all subject teams to develop engaging and
inspirational learning experiences. The successful candidate will be expected to teach MYP
Sciences, Grades 6 through 10, working with students with a diverse range of talent and ability.
The preferred candidate will:
requirements and practices of the International Baccalaureate, specifically relating to
the Middle Years Programmes (preferred)
stimulate, motivate and engage students’ learning and agency
differentiated instruction
application of scientific concepts
administrators.
Requirements:
Have a bachelor's or master’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field (Master's
degree preferred); and/or multi-subject teaching credential

This is a full-time position. The school year runs from August to June.
The Lycée Français de San Francisco is a French Immersion College Preparatory School in the San
Francisco Bay Area. We provide a challenging educational environment based on the French
national curriculum and the International Baccalaureate framework, enriched by English classes
from PS-12th grade. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with a well-structured,
well-assimilated body of general knowledge while encouraging the development of analytical and
critical thinking skills. Our students earn an American high school diploma, as well as prepare for
the French Baccalauréat or the DP IB, which qualifies them for both American and European
Universities.
