Nurse Supervisor Duties:

  • As a nurse supervisor you will be responsible for the nursing care for your unit.
  • You will supervise activities performed by nursing assistants and other nurses in your unit.
  • You will chart and maintain documentation for residents.
  • You will prepare and administer medications.
  • You will develop and maintain a positive working rapport with all team members.

Nurse Supervisor Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing.
  • A valid, current nursing license in Illinois as a registered nurse (RN).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least three years experience in long-term care.
