Collections Specialist

Position Overview: The Collections Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the collection process for all account receivable accounts over 60 days.

Key Competencies:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Strong customer service skills
• Possess at least 2 years of collection experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring the accounts receivable collections process
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of collections
• Maintain knowledge of company’s collections policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain up-to-date records and reports
• Monitor and review collection results and processes to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain professional working relationships with customers at all times
• Protect the company by keeping information confidential
• Provide assistance and support to the department as assigned by the Manager
