As an Outside Sales Representative on the Local Acquisition team of Lyft Business, you’ll help local organizations understand the business-changing impacts of Lyft and its solutions. You’ll join a talented team focused on one thing: using technology and Lyft’s network of drivers to improve transportation for your client’s customers and employees. We’re looking for smart, ambitious individuals with deep field sales experience who want to transform the way people move around.
Responsibilities:
- Lead net-new business development and account management within an assigned territory
- Build and manage a regional sales pipeline by developing trusted client relationships from initial contact to deal close
- Accurately forecast, track, and manage revenue and opportunities with multiple systems and tools (Salesforce, Email Campaign, Google Suite, and Tableau)
- Achieve quarterly growth and sales quotas
- Act as the regional expert in Lyft Business solutions and perfect sales strategies focusing on the Automotive and Hospitality industries
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with multiple decision makers within customers
- Establish long-term, collaborative relationships with Lyft Business customers and demonstrate Lyft value to client-focused initiatives
- Partner with external partners to facilitate training, account review, customer engagement, and customer success criteria
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Operations and Marketing to drive the effectiveness of sales campaigns and initiatives
- Represent Lyft at marketing and tradeshow events
- Travel up to 30% of the time, depending on territory, for meetings and visits to client locations
- Reports directly to the Regional Manager, Local Acquisition
Experience:
- 3-5 years of successful field sales experience
- Previous experience with SaaS integration in the Automotive, Rideshare, Hospitality, or Technology industries a major plus
- Experience managing an end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, objection-handling, closing, and account management
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- High levels of sales persistence and work ethic
- Demonstrated success in exceeding quotas
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- High energy with an outgoing, social personality
- Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience selling into auto dealerships or hospitality preferred
