Physician Assistant, Interventional Radiology

Ideal candidates will have experience in interventional radiology or another procedural or surgical specialty, and the team is very open to training the right candidate provided they have a passion for IR, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time position - Interventional Radiology
• Monday-Friday
• No call, no nights, no weekends
• Collaborate with a fantastic team of board-certified radiologists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners
• Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
• Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
• Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
• Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Virginia Physician Assistant License
• BLS/ACLS Certified
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with EMR systems
