Our client near Rockville Centre, NY is looking to add a full time Physician Assistant to join their surgical team. Candidates will work among a team of providers to treat orthopedic, general, neurosurgical and urology patients. The PA will assist in surgery, treat patients on the floor and in office. Interested? Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday-Friday schedule, day shifts only
- Assist in surgery, perform consults, follow-ups and post-ops in the hospital
- Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:
- New York State License
- Knowledge of surgical specialties, treatments and terminology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
