We are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in Clearwater, FL. This role is pivotal in supporting manufacturing and engineering processes with a strong emphasis on process simplification and improvement. The Day-to-Day:
- Set up and operate equipment such as lathes, drills, milling machines, grinders, and saws using pre-established processes and programs for the production of parts and tools.
- Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure that in-process or finished products meet specified tolerances, demonstrating a strong acumen with standard machinist metrology devices.
- Assist in the coordination of sending and receiving water testing kits for field teams.
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance for machine shop equipment following internal procedures.
- Complete documentation for tracking time and cost related to development activities.
- Provide design consultation for manufacturability and ensure the timely completion of parts.
- Participate in teams to drive improvements in processes and documentation.
- Support new product development requirements by performing assigned work as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year of machine shop experience.
- Detail-oriented with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work and complete projects on time.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Pay Rate/Shifts:
- $14.00 to $15.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
- Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
