Our client, a large beauty products manufacturer in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join their team.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production targets are met.
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.
Duties :
- Monitor departments performance to identify potential production issues in order to proactively address challenges and find creative solutions
- Provide leadership, training and guidance to department personnel
- Collaborate with other departments and shift supervisor to align share resources
- Ensure all material is handled, produced and packaged according to GMP and SQF standards
- Resolve equipment , process , raw material and finished product quality issues in a timely manner
- Hold teams members accountable for actions and initiate progressive disciplinary processes
- Manage personnel schedule and staff levels as production dictates
- Identify, recommends and implement changes to improve productivity and quality
- Report employees incidents and safety incidents on hazard to the Director and Management team
- Accountable for overall goal of Zero incidents / accidents through coordination and
Skills and Experience :
- Associate Degree
- 4 to 5 years Supervisory experience
- Min 5 years of exp ERP and or Batch Management software
- Min 5 yrs of Chemical compounding exp
- Knowledge of GMPs, HAACP
- Knowledge of Batch Metrics ad Oracle EBS a plus
Pay and Shift :
- Monday to Friday
- 2 : 30 PM to 10 : 00 PM
- $38.00 $40.00
