Our client, a large natural beverages company in Clifton, NJ is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Technician to join their team.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of their products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality.

Duties :

• Perform daily checks of pH, Brix, viscosity and color for each finished product, following standard procedures and using appropriate testing equipment.
• Perform line inspection for both production lines, checking products for defects; cap placement, label placement, date code accuracy and legibility, master case accuracy and proper labelling, fill level of products.
• Daily checks on all incoming raw material for compliance to specifications and adherence to our Food Safety system
• Record and document all findings and results accurately for further analysis.
• Assist in maintaining and updating quality standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure adherence to quality control processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review the implementation and effectiveness of quality and inspection systems.
• Identify areas of improvement and recommend actions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience in the beverage industry of relevant filed
• Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in conducting inspections, tests, and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting data.
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software for data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant quality management systems and standards.
• Familiarity with risk management principles.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
