Lynk Automation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Team Lead to join our team. We specialize in installing security cameras, access control systems, fiber optics, data cabling, and public address systems for K-12 schools across Texas. The Field Team Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects, managing field operations, and leading a team to deliver high-quality installations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Project Management:** Oversee and manage specific installation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership:** Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of field technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Vehicle Operation:** Safely drive and maintain a company-provided van, ensuring all tools and equipment are secure and in good working condition.
- Installation and Maintenance:** Perform and oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security cameras, access control systems, fiber optics, data cabling, and public address systems.
- Customer Interaction:** Serve as the primary point of contact for school administrators and staff during project installations, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Safety:** Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and team performance, providing regular updates to upper management.
**Qualifications:**
- Experience:** Minimum of 1 years of experience in security systems installation, data cabling, or a related field. Previous supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills:** Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting security cameras, access control systems, fiber optics, and data cabling.
- Driving License:** Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Education:** High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
- Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, customers, and school staff.
- Problem-Solving:** Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and confidence.
- Physical Ability:** Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
- Drug Testing:** Ability to pass drug and background checks and are able to perform work in the vicinity of children.
- Travel:** Some travel will be required, although not frequently, we do sometimes have jobs far enough away that require an overnight stay. All accommodations are covered.
