Project Manager

• Directs the work of project team, including oversight/coordination with other project managers
  
• Functions as escalation to project teams to resolve issues
  
• Reports project status to Senior Leadership in weekly meetings
  
• Develops cost plans and project estimates for Demands in pipeline
  
• May facilitate assignment of projects to project managers across organization
  

• Plans projects, including requirements, cost, schedule, and deliverables to meet business needs
  
• Identifies project milestones and required tasks
  
• Manages project risk, issues, and budget
  
• Tracks project performance
  
• Informs the appropriate stakeholders of project status and issues
  
• Interfaces with vendor(s) for programs under direct control
  
• Follow-up on any open GIS related issues
  
• Identify and track GIS issues coming due in next 4-6 weeks
  
• Remove any blockers for the teams working these issues. Ensure that these issues are remediated before due dates
  
• File extensions as and when exceptionally needed

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  
• 7 10 years of experience managing enterprise level infrastructure projects ($250K ).
  
• Experience leading End User Technology and Security projects for a Fortune-500 company.
  
• Experience leading heavily matrixed teams at a global level to include offshore teams and resources.
  
• Excellent communications skills to effectively information share with project team members and senior managers.
  
• Be available to work outside traditional hours and days to facilitate project events when required.
  
• Can effectively work with diverse project team members and be able to instill a unified drive to achieve project objectives and milestones.
  
• Skilled in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presenting/selling them to senior management
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills
  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite and applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Skype, Visio, Teams)
  

• Proven track record in development of standard Project Management processes
