 Overview of the position:

This position will support the Industrial and Dairy Division from an operational perspective.  The individual will support the sales organization by managing raw materials and logistics to scale the commercialization of new items. Included are day-to-day reviews of production at both manufacturing facilities; updates are required to support efficient production management with high levels of communication to multiple divisions within LYONS. The successful candidate will have leadership skills and the ability to recommend improvements and enhance current protocols.  The division provides service to many Fortune 500 companies in the Dairy and Bakery industries, where communication within the division and with cross-functional teams is highly important.  

  

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the mission, values, and vision of the company
  • Knowledge of DAX to support inventory of ingredients, raw materials, and finished goods
  • Supports logistics for plant trials and full commercial scale-up of new items
  • Organize annual pricing in accordance with raw material cost adjustments
  • Weekly/Monthly Customer Inventory/Contract updates
  • Annual Fruit Purchase Management with an internal tracking  system
  • Supports logistics for new raw material needs and  business analyst information
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the product line  and services to include, but not limited to, the Lyons Dairy Division
  • Translate customer needs to enhance efficient business  practices: Projects, special certifications, ingredient changes,      data/information portals, ability to make changes to support customer needs
  • Contribute to weekly sales meetings with meaningful  activity, including assignments, results, and future planning
  • Recognize/identify new opportunities to promote the Lyons Dairy platform
  • Review details for customer follow-up and take   appropriate action to bring solutions


Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

  • Computer Systems and software programs (DAX preferred)
  • Microsoft Office and other software programs
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Strong work ethic
  • Leadership in developing cross-functional teams/programs

Education: 

  • Four-year College Degree
