We are a small but fast expanding carpet cleaning company in the TriState area serving an excellent base of residential and commercial customers. Our goal is straight forward and that is to build a pipeline of commercial business. We are searching for a talented, enthusiastic sales professional who loves cultivating relationships, promoting great products, and offering world-class commercial carpet care to local businesses. This position requires a compelling individual with experience in product, supply, equipment or service oriented B2B selling, preferably. In this role, you will operate as an Independent Sales Representative contacting companies within various industries to demonstrate how we fully restore and protect a key asset and important investment throughout the commercial carpet lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience with valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation.
Ability to operate successfully as an Independent Sales Representative.
Must have engaging interpersonal skills with the drive to succeed.
Must be outgoing and like to cultivate relationships.
Excellent written communication skills.
Must be technologically proficient in using social media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform key sales processes: research, development, contact and support.
Conduct prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media.
Make client visits, gather information and cultivate relationships.
Make cold calls to prospective customers.
Make follow-up calls, send emails and text messages to prospective clients.
Ask discovery questions to properly qualify decision makers (DM’s) for future meetings.
Leverage industry-leading products and the owner-operator’s experience in the field of commercial carpet cleaning to assist you in closing the sale.
Follow up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern arise.
