M.C. Dean is looking for an Operations & Process Analyst 2 to join a consulting team focused on providing our customer’s leadership and management team with analysis, recommendation, and implementation of initiatives for improving mission critical functions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with team members on a variety of analytical efforts, product development, and customer communications preparation.
· Support establishing client relationships, assessing client issues and proposing project solutions; review, coordinate, and summarize client correspondence to assist the project leadership’s understanding of client priorities, scope changes, deadlines, and deliverables; use this experience to develop project leadership skills and assume those responsibilities.
· Structure and conduct research – open source and enclave specific; synthesize and present findings.
· Assist with scheduling and conducting interviews with customer and industry stakeholders to elicit and document information.
· Analyze, document, and recommend changes to processes and procedures.
· Analyze, document, and support implementation of changes to organizational constructs and training methods.
· Participate in planning and conduct of data collection, data analysis, and decision support activities.
· Assist with preparing documentation, reports, and presentations defining problems, evaluation, and possible/recommended concepts or solutions—recommendations could be across operations, processes, personnel/staffing, training, materiel solutions, policy, etc.
· Assist with developing Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms) for implementation of proposed recommendations.
· Assist with developing operational concepts and requirements that can be translated into technical requirements.
· Support implementation of proposed recommendations.
· Think creatively and communicate thoughts both in terms of structured narrative and visual graphics.
· Professionally interact with leadership and staff personnel in both industry and government settings
Required Qualifications:
· U.S. Citizenship and eligible to be granted a U.S. Security Clearance.
· Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience.
· Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
· Proficiency using SharePoint to access and store data.
· Demonstrated process analysis/re-engineering experience; process development certification desired (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
· Demonstrated experience creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, work instructions, policies, etc.
· Strong writing skills.
· Familiarity with systems architectures (e.g., TOGAF, DODAF, FEAF, etc.).
· Familiarity with Agile and ITIL concepts.
Desired Qualifications:
· Management consulting experience.
· SharePoint editing and management experience.
· Lean Six Sigma or similar certifications.
· Experience working in Federal Government (GOV or CTR).

· Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

· Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
