What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry level General Labor position at M C I?
Genera-Labor -maintenance and repair workers are responsible for completing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities, as well as cleaning and verifying that tools and equipment are working correctly. Must be able to work overtime, and weekends and responsible for following all safety rules.
**** Maintenance and Repair Worker, General Tasks
- Perform daily assignments on various equipment.
- Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up.
- Clean and repair equipment at end of shift
- Operate and perform routine tasks on related systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance as needed.
- Perform maintenance at beginning of shift to ensure proper usage and running of equipment.
**** BASIC REQUIREMENTS : * Must have knowledge and be capable of using hand tools.
- Must be capable of carrying heavy loads for long distances.
- Must be physically capable of climbing and working from ladders with heights up to 25'.
- Good communication skills, attendance, team player.
- Must be able to read and understand job instructions, repair manuals, safety rules etc.
- Some manufacturing experience and electrical very helpful.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
