Job description
Responsibilities of the Low Voltage Technician include, but are NOT limited to, any or all of the following:
- Installation and Service of CCTV (IP & analog), Burglary Alarm, Fire Alarm, Access Control Systems, Structured Cabling (Cat5 & Cat6) and Audio Visual Equipment
- Knowledge of programming, setup, commissioning and subsequent testing of burglary and fire alarm systems a plus. (Honeywell, Vista, DMP, Firelite, DSC and Bosch systems, among others)
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and servicing techniques of above system types a plus.
- Ensuring assigned installations are completed on-time and within budget
- Maintaining and submitting accurate documentation on our app.
- Installing/pulling wire according to NEC standards
- Mounting panels, field devices, computers, power supplies, cable management and head-end configurations a plus.
- 2-5 years of CCTV, Alarm, Fire and Access Control installation experience highly preferred but not required.
- Clean driving record.
- Background check and drug test required upon employment
Compensation for this full-time position is competitive and pay based upon experience.
