What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tester position at M&D?
Description
- Pressure test various makes/models of diesel cylinder heads (training provided)
- Repair leaks in castings of diesel cylinder heads
- Install seat inserts in diesel cylinder head castings
- Operate Peterson TCM-25 drill press
- Operate Ikeda radial arm drill press
- Willingness to learn and assist in various jobs on the machine line
- Follow directions and standard safety measures
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Work with hand tools (All tools are company provided)
- Works with Micrometer and Caliper (We will train)
- Manual dexterity up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand at workstation throughout shift
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screening
- Fosters good coworker citizenship in the workplace
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
