Maintenance Millwright (Direct Hire)

Maintenance Millwright needed for a large manufacturing facility located in Greeneville, TN. This is a 2nd shift position and the average work week consists of working 50 hours. Starting pay will be $22.84 per hour. Must be successfully fit tested in the use of company supplied respiratory protection equipment (SCBA).

Job Description: Troubleshooting and repair of pneumatics, hydraulics, piping, and mechanical systems. Fabrication and welding. Performing mechanical maintenance duties for a heavy industrial manufacturing facility.

• Installs, repairs, and maintains equipment and machinery, and performs general building maintenance.
• Interprets detailed drawings and specifications; building, plumbing and power drawings, etc.
• Disassembles, assembles, maintains and repairs all types of equipment and machinery, using hand tools, tradesman's tools and welding equipment.
• Installs and repairs power installations: oven, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Inspects equipment to detect mechanical defects or malfunctions.
• Measures, cuts and installs piping for gas, water, steam or hydraulic lines.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing and fixtures, cleans drains as directed.
• Sets up dies and assemblies: fits, aligns, and adjusts machinery and equipment.
• Operating all machine shop tools to grind, shape, fabricate, and alter equipment parts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates degree in Mechanical Technology with Industrial Maintenance emphasis or a Journeyman's Card is preferred
• 3-5 years experience in the industrial maintenance areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, millwright principles, pipe fitting and blueprint reading.
